Experience and Achievements
Dr Sirkeci is a Consultant Gynaecologist at St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester, where she leads the Trust’s emergency gynaecology services. She is an experienced specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of uterine fibroids, offering the full range of medical and surgical options with a personalised, holistic approach to care.
She is a co-author of the FEMME trial, a major multi-centre study comparing fibroid treatments, published in leading journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and the International Journal of Gynaecology & Obstetrics. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Sirkeci is actively involved in teaching, training, clinical governance and ongoing research to improve outcomes for women’s health.
